My mom always said I should've been born when wagons were rolling west, lol. My grandmother bought a 1980 Ford E150 new, and had it 3/4 camperised. As she had a very scarey experience with propane, she chose not to have a furnace or stove installed in it but did have a raised roof put on along with a dinette/bed, cupboards, ice box style fridge, closet and counters. She and her friends traveled across Canada a number of times and to every US state in North America. My mom then inherited the van. Mom didn't care about "pretty", her focus was on mechanical. I inherited this "family heirloom" 4 years ago. You should hear it purr.

Now I'm getting ready for retirement and want to add a few things, like a furnace and fridge. Possibly redo the interior layout.

I've lived in my 5th wheel for a little over 10 years, but I'm wanting to travel with out all the fuss of hitching up, finding a place large enough to fit into etc.

I've spent the last 20 years working as a heavy equipment operator, working in Fort MacMurray AB, down through to BC. Now it's time to see the rest of North America, along with my best friend, Tango, my Blueheeler.
