I have a 1991 Econoline E350 1 ton cargo van. It was running rough and the gas consumption was terrible (worse than usual). Acting upon local recommendations for someone who works on older vehicles too, I went to Tito's Auto Care. Within 10 minutes they had diagnosed the problem and 2 hours...

I sort of feel like if I do that I'll stir stuff up and then you get deposits swirling around clogging things up... Unless I used the magnet on the oil pan trick.. Sent from my SM-J727VPP using Tapatalk

I figure since she cost me $2,000 to buy, from Palm Desert, so no rust etc. She has amortized more than her value over the years. Sent from my SM-J727VPP using Tapatalk

Knock on wood, it runs like a dream, starts up every time, even after sitting for 6 months, and I've driven it like 30,000 miles. No smoke, nothing. And it passes its smog...That's why I'm scared to mess with anything. I've changed the oil once and a fan belt because it was squeaky. It's still...

My new van 1994 Ford econoline 150

They need to invent a bazooka that just shoots it over the top, and it gently drifts down, perfectly covering the van. Or you could rig up a scaffolding and drive it under and just drop it on. :D... Sent from my SM-J727VPP using Tapatalk

I've found that if you fix the panels on top you are forced to park in the sun, plus flat panels miss out on a huge amount of rays. I tried just placing them on the ground, inclined, to match sun rays angle, and moved them as the sun moved. It worked so much better, especially charging my solar...

I would be really interested to know how/where folks are finding these deals. In Craigslist, driving around, trader mag, bulletin board? Sent from my SM-J727VPP using Tapatalk

Ha ah H ha ah! Thank you! That is the simplest explanation for measuring MPG that I have ever seen. I will definitely do it. I was joking about my SWAG... just to say it's absolutely terrible. To go from SF to LA takes about 3 tanks. Sent from my SM-J727VPP using Tapatalk

Do you know anything about my particular vehicle? I love my Tan Van but she's a major gas guzzler and I'm wondering if there is some way to improve that.. Sent from my SM-J727VPP using Tapatalk

Hey fellow solo mature women travelers. The fastest growing segment of the homeless (although I prefer the term houseless) population are middle to older aged solo women. For a time, when I lived in a house, I collected funds for our local homeless shelter so I know the statistics. And now I...
