I am a professional trumpet player in an orchestra going on 27 years, and have dreamed of living on the road since building and living in a house (I have to note with some pride that I did everything on that house build save some sheetrock finishing and excavation work).
Right after getting passing my final inspection, I build a homemade slide in camper for my Nissan Truck and have been experimenting with stealth camping in it ever since. It has been very eye opening how little one actually needs in this life, and it seems that the close one is to that, the more alive one feels.
I have always had a keen interest in building things and recently have been trying my hand at tig welding and blacksmithing. I dream of someday having a mobile shop that I can live out of and do projects while on the road.
I also love mountain biking and ride most every day.
