3/4 inch plywood sounds like a lot. Could you go thinner? 3/8 inch plywood is the same weight as 3/4 with 50% holes. That would take quite a while to drill. 35 lbs of 3/8 in ply vs 70 lbs of 3/4 in ply. Of 4x8 ft sheet.

I was looking for other solutions and ran across a Zodi x40 vented tent heater. It is oversized and too expensive for me. Are there other small air exchange heaters made?

It looks like what was used in my old place of work. 1" thick made for a soft seat pad. It was a rubber foam sleep mat. It never took on any moisture. They lined air conditioning ducts with it in a steamy humid environment.

I started looking into buying panels today. It looks like the American manufacturers will be best for my use. I have limited real estate room for panels. High efficiency and a good life guarantee are over riding factors to the best cost.
