I'd like to be able to tell my long, meandering story in a coherent way, but my brain doesn't work that way! I can give a little list of some of my life adventures: trained and rode hunter/jumpers in my teens, was a phlebotomist in my early twenties, was assistant manager in a cool Mexican restaurant chain called Macheezmo Mouse in my late twenties, crewed on a small ship in SE Alaska, worked on personal property losses in a major insurance office, loaded UPS trucks then became a manager there (for a very short time ~ very unfriendly place for free-spirits), then turned my back on corporate life for good and first worked with dogs for 5 or so years, then cats for another 8 years as manager in a cat hotel...then had a little (not so little, actually) breakdown and have been trying to figure life out ever since.
Let's see...I also had an amazing son during that time. He's terrified of this new chapter and although glad I finished such a huge project, wishes very much I'd never started it.
As you can probably guess, I'm single. Never found anyone who could handle my need to keep trying new things, and need for personal space.
I love gaming, music, reading, researching, vegging out watching Netflix, and conversely, being active. I love to cook, but am only fair to middling good at it. I love riding my scooter. I enjoy chatting with people of all kinds, then have to go recharge afterwards.
I hope to meet people through this forum and Bob's blog. :)
