My so-called mid-life crisis brought me here. In 2019, I quit my corporate job and freed myself of most of my earthly possessions to become a Peace Corps volunteer in South America. I dreamed of wandering abroad for the unforeseeable future. Alas, a global pandemic brought me back to the States one year later. Now without a job, permanent address or many belongings, vanlife may turn out to be my best next move.
