I was born and raised in Nova Scotia. I moved north to Baffin Island in 1992 and later to Yellowknife, NT in 94. I worked with youth in custody for 11 years before resigning and working in exploration camps for a few years. I lived in the 'Woodyard' in Old Town, in a shack, for several years before health issues inspired me to make some changes. Brain surgery and facing your death, taking what could be your last intentional breath, can shift ones perspective greatly. A blessing. I moved to Vancouver Island in 2009. I'm seriously researching Van life. I create graphic designs and make what I call 'Wood Mosaic Art' to supplement my fixed income. I volunteer in and oversee communications and communication avenues for my spiritual community. I love designs. I love laughers.
You are never too old to have a happy childhood.
