The hardest part is finding your new home!

Damn hepcat!! This is all brilliant information..thank-you. I've done some research on these units and they seem to be very solid. I think you're exactly right on the offer..I'll keep you posted.

Yeah, I know. My bubble is quickly being burst. The newer "b's" with the same mileage are selling for double that and more.

If I had cash I'd do much better with that amount but I have to finance. It's frustrating that these units are selling so fast right now. That's why I'm in panic mode..I look at one then the next time I look, it's been sold.

That's really good info. Didn't even know that was available; I thought I would just have a local Ford guy go over and check it out which probably would tick off the dealership. I'll check ebay..thanks

The hardest part is finding your new home!

All good information, thanks for the reply. I am not a mechanic nor do I want to be and I have only a small stash of money but even 18,000 sounds better financed (smaller payment) than 40,000 which a cheap, newer, class B goes for. Given the fact that they probably gave the guy (or girl)...

The hardest part is finding your new home!

So I posted a few weeks ago and have come far in planning for my departure which will be July 1st," if the creek don't rise". I need your help, feedback and possibly a cuddle...my head is absolutely boggled trying to find the right rig. I will be on a limited income and will have a payment and...

This feels like a really big step!

I'm writing this down you know. I suppose the dealer could put a cooler on it, (for a price) They are really pushing me toward a Chinook, 10,000 more bucks but less miles with a solar system already installed. Looked at an Isata today ..they sold it while I was standing there! I think a lot of...

Got it...thanks. I think he was "mistaken" about "off road." They just look like heavy tread to me. He may have said that because I said I wanted to" go where no man has gone before," (or woman.)

Thanks Robin, for the feedback. I would typically never consider any vehicle with that many miles and the price is pretty high I think but I REALLY like the floor plan of the Rialta and 22 mpg suits me; holding tanks are small (I don't care) and generator problems reported. What is load rating...

This feels like a really big step!

Do you guys have any feedback on a Rialta Class B; it has high miles (102,000!) but the body style and layout is pretty doable (off road tires he says); also Chinook? Lower miles but that awful rear entrance and lower gas mileage than the Rialta. I'd prefer a Pleasure Way but finding one in my...

This feels like a really big step!

Thanks DannyB for putting that in perspective. It seems the amount will be less than first anticipated, making this venture a bit more difficult especially with a payment on the rig. Ah well, who said, "Where there's a will there's a way.?"

This feels like a really big step!

Hi Snow Gypsy, Since I had my appt. today at SSI, I wanted to wait before I replied to your very honest post. Today is my birthday, 65, and I will receive 1213.00 a month; she also said maybe I should wait another year to earn another $100.00 a month. I don't think so, I've started the payments...
