You mean that's not normal?

Woke up from a nap, as a child, and went to ask my dad a question about plumbing.. just before the pressurized water line to the washing machine blew..
Would round up handfulls of candles before power outtages..
REALLY wanted to sit on a rock while at the beach.. to be there in time to save another girl's life.
Was visiting friends.. and HAD to go home.. just before a drunk threw a beer bottle through my front window. Saved the cat.
Avoided several car accidents, and advised others against things that would have worked out badly for them too.
Knew when my father died.

You mean not everyone does this stuff?
Nice to see other people talking about stuff like this. 🤣 I "know stuff" that I shouldn't logically know and occasionally a voice in my head tells me stuff that helps me out. My mom was the same way so I'm guessing I get it from her.

Example: My grandmother was in the hospital in one state and I was living 4 states over. I wasn't close with me grandmother the last 15 years of her life so I wasn't concerned about her being in the hospital. She had been in and out of the hospital 2 or 3 times recently so I figured she would eventually go back home or they would move her into a nursing home or something. Anyway, I was asleep on the couch when suddenly I sat straight up and knew my grandmother had just died. I felt sad for a minute but it was the middle of the night so I went back to sleep. The next morning my mom came over and told me my grandmother had passed. Same thing happened when I was little and my dad died in a traffic accident.

Another example: I had a friend who liked to scratch off lottery tickets but she didn't want to be one of those people who got addicted so she would ask me to pick out a ticket. I would stop, breathe, and quiet the static inside me, look at the cards, and know which one would win. She won every time. It NEVER works when I buy one though. Picking for myself generates too much energy that I can't calm.

Another example: It was really late and I was driving down a deserted street so I was texting and driving (which I haven't done since because it's dangerous and stupid). Anyway, I was looking down texting, the car was going straight, and the voice inside my head yelled STOP!!! I slammed on the brakes and went What?!! Y'all, there was a guy standing in front of my car. If I hadn't slammed on my brakes right then, I would have hit him. (Again, I don't text and drive anymore). The voice - my guardian angel? - has saved me so many times. When I was 10, it helped me escape being harmed and killed.

Anyway, glad other people know stuff too.

Interesting thing about me is that I look and sound like a really funny, hippish, optimistic artist who loves people, is quick too laugh and is great at holding space for others, which is all true! I adore people and life. But before this chapter of my life, I was a business owner, a certified public accountant, and a paralegal in the regular Army. And before joining the Army, I was a messed up person raised by two drug dealers - one was a murderer and the other one was an addict - and I lived a life centered around crime and drugs.

So I'm seriously sweet, playful, and I love people AND I'm also very practical, logical, and independent AND I can be ruthless about protecting me and mine if pleasant and kind doesn't get my point across. My personality throws people who expect me to fit the roles or stereotypes they have in their head.

Nothing weird at all about me other than I think everyone else is weird because I know I am not 🤪

So, some of the interesting things about me.

I, with hubby bought my first house when I was 17. Had my both kids before I was out of my teens.

Died once and since then I can tell when a family member is dying before the phone rings. 4 times now.

All my watches quit working after only 6-7 weeks of wearing them. Doesn't matter how cheap or expensive.

nothing physically or psychic type weirdo with me.
Only issue is I am a diehard minimalist type and I always keep this active in my life, up front at all times. I feel it works totally in life vs wanting all the crap and clutter of stuff and 'life drama' thru people. I minimalize my interactions with humans out there also so to me I live a simple easy clean life :) Just how I want it.

I'm a life long vegetarian, unlike anyone else in the family of 6 kids that I grew up in. Even as an infant I couldn't stomach eating meat baby food. Cows are safe around me.

That's so freaking interesting. Personally, I've always thought there was some sort of matrix thing we're living in. I think quantum physics has said something like that also.

Either way, interesting things happen all the time. Like the case of the identical twins separated at birth but they lived congruent lives, making the same choices and decisions without ever knowing the other twin existed. Just weird energetic connections.
