I would tell myself to take advantage of opportunities, even if they were not that appropriate. :ROFLMAO:

Advice from a friend;
NEVER pick up Hitch hiker NO matter the weather.. he got almost beaten to death. horrible injuries, he had to do . what he had to do..But he goes to Jail. Self Defence (HA_HA_ but he's still alive. bad guy will never Beat someone close to death again. Glad My friend still alive.
keeb.

I would have said to buy a house as soon as possible because the price goes exponential every year you wait. Had I bought 30 years ago when I arrived in San Diego, it would have been really, really affordable. However, then I would've been stuck here, nose to the grindstone. Actually, my nose has been to the grindstone regardless. Lol. I didn't have any credit or money, so why regret things I can't change? I'm happy to be where I'm at.

Your fine as you are and when you get older you will have gleaned much more life experience and even a BS degree only to find out everything you valued most; freedom,physical exercise,nature,music,solitude and the spiritual world is all that really matters. And if you can find a women who shares your values to share this life with as well, cherish and enjoy.

Wow yikes! I have had less than favorable outcomes picking up the very few hitch hikers that I have, but nothing like that. Now when I drive by them I say to myself," they chose to be there and they are not my children nor my responsibility. " I just hate feeling manipulated to somehow feel responsible for chauffeuring them around. Been there done that with my kids 2 decades ago and am done. To top it off my beloved picked up the biggest POS hitchhiker decades ago, she as a young naive gullible women and ended up having 2 kids with him and piles upon piles of regret because he was a capitol Dead beat dad/con artist moocher.

if I could do anything, hmmm now it is change restaurant prices back to WAY THE HECK lower and put back any good quality of actual food they offer for that lower cost.....:)...---didn't realize I had the 'good ol' days' til kinda now LOL yikes. expensive out there now truly for crappier products bought.

Be ok with the overwhelming adversity you'll deal with. You got three amazing kids from it. And you'd do it again. So be more ok with it.

I think I would explain how much money I could save by getting a house on wheels. If I would have known about this 20 years ago I could retire with a nice nest egg by now.

I'd tell my younger self that every day in his life in teens & twenties would be worth four or five in my life once past 55...... so live life to the fullest, learn, and cover as much ground as possible while you have your youth & energy. Stay single and avoid girls who want to get married and have kids asap and live next door to mommy & daddy....fall into that and forget the Nomad life or much of anything else. Those who want to enlist you into their struggles generally have less to offer you than you have to give them whether it be a potential wife, employer, or organization. Protect your freedom so your life will belong to you.
